Overview

Holland Park Villas is an ultra-prestigious residential development in Kensington, comprising 68 luxury apartments and penthouses with property values ranging from £5 million to £15 million. Designed to balance contemporary elegance with heritage sensitivity, the development features façades clad in Branco Imperial Portuguese limestone—chosen to complement Kensington’s Victorian architecture while delivering a refined, modern aesthetic. Surrounding the buildings, premium granite paving has been laid throughout the landscaped grounds and private courtyards. These durable yet sophisticated surfaces enhance the development’s visual appeal while providing a seamless connection between the architecture and the green expanses of Holland Park.

Our Contribution

We were appointed to implement a specialist cleaning and protection programme across all newly installed hard landscape elements within the development. This included the application of a breathable impregnating sealer designed to protect the paving from soiling, moisture ingress, and environmental degradation. To ensure the surfaces retained a consistent finish and high visual standard, we carried out a series of scheduled maintenance cleans throughout the programme duration.

Additionally, we identified and treated areas of the external building facade exhibiting early signs of carbonisation along the limestone edging and building ledges - effectively removing the surface contaminants and restoring the stonework in line with the project’s material specification.
